New NMC show in Peterborough
Hi,
I was talking to Keith Berry Saturday and he seams keen to set up a show here for next year not sure if it will be instead of the current one we have now or as well as.
I may have a venue but worried nobody would turn up as the current one has a low attendance already.
What do you think??? also what time of year would be best???

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
Well I'd go and I bet Sarah (Cudbill) would too since it would be the nearest show to us. And for Phil it would be nearer than a lot of the current shows so I bet you could twist his arm It's just getting people from 'up north' to travel down... though I'm sure you could rope in quite a few
Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
I was planning on going, as was Daisy (fat_paris) as its the closest one to Cambridge, we were trying to get together a group of people who are already interested in mice, and hoping to convert them to show lines. It would be a shame if it was cancelled.

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
We are hoping to put a show on in Bristol next year. Plans are at a very early stage, but if we come to yours, will you come to ours?

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
Depending on dates and finances I might make peterborough, infact maybe even Bristol.
Its only an M25, M4 stint really.

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
Well it seems we will have another Peterborough show some time about now next year, this is in addition to the current show at the East of England show ground (Autumn show in October) this addition will be held at a local community centre, so I hope to see somebody there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a choice of two halls in the same place large/small so if anybody wants to run Rats or similar shout now as we MAY be able to fit you in.

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
Great news! I'll definitely come If you need to split the cost of the hall it might be worth contacting the MRC (Midlands Rat Club) and seeing if they would be interested. I believe they have a website, I'm sure Google will bring it up. I would think there wouldn't be enough space to share with anything larger (cavies/rabbits), so unless you know someone who organises hamster or gerbil shows rats are probably your best bet.

Hi Cait,
Your a star thank you very much for that I have just rang Keith but no one home so I'm waiting for him to get back to me but that sounds like a cracking idea to me.
Sorry I didn't get to speak to you much Saturday you seemed busy, but then I am the strong silent type Thank you very much for putting me in touch with Phil Brookes I had hoped to see his famous Dutch, I now know the standard to beat.
Hope to come visit your stud one day.

Re: New NMC show in Peterborough
Hi Steve
Hope it all works out with the show/sharing the hall. It will be nice to have a show a bit nearer to home. Thought you'd like to see Phil's dutch - if it were a rumpwhite BIS I would be the same (wouldn't it be nice if that happened - first time for everything).
